A Showcase of Minimal Logo Design

There is a large trend in design for minimal logos right now. The idea of saying ‘less with more’ in logo design is the route that many designers are turning to. Simplicity is the key factor in this trend. The reason behind the rise in popularity is due to minimal logos being seen as more recognizable for consumers than complicated ones. This helps to increase brand awareness which is vital in business.

A minimalist logo needs to be clean, uncluttered and void of unnecessary details. Using simple shapes to represent a brand is relied upon in minimalism. Negative space is another common tactic used in minimal design to try and optimize the use of space. The best logos are when no explanation is needed to explain what the brand is about, it can be shown just by looking at the logo.

Take a look at some great examples of minimal logo design below. Hopefully they will inspire you to create your own logo using a minimalist template. Remember to not over-complicate your design and think about a clear message that you want to get across to consumers.
